Social Media Manager

A new wave of immersive media is rapidly changing the way fans experience and consume music. At Wave, we are creating that future, and this is your chance to combine your passions for music, technology, VR, and video games, to help bring a new medium to music fans around the world!

You’ll plan and execute Wave’s global social media strategy by developing a consistent brand voice across multiple platforms, and creating and curating content from our shows and partners. The ideal candidate has the ability to zoom in and execute tactically for whatever is needed, while also thinking big picture to create strategies for our overall growth and live virtual concert attendee goals.


  • Manage social media operations and best practices for Wave’s social media communities 

  • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly publishing calendar for all accounts, assuring a consistent publishing cadence 

  • Manage creation of social content, working with content and production teams to showcase our brand and artistic capabilities, while helping develop content that performs within social algorithms

  • Develop ability to write posts for social profiles in Wave’s voice, while refining our brand voice to inform and reflect our core values

  • Create and implement social activation plans to drive tune in for our live shows, tracking and iterating campaigns based on data and results

  • Set short and long term goals for social owned platform growth and implement the tactics to get us there

  • Research competition and artists we should be working with on social, sharing trends and learnings from others in our space

  • Develop distribution partners for our content on other social platforms

  • Assist in outreach and identification of social media influencers who can help grow brand profile and drive product growth

  • Work with sponsorship and strategy teams to implement monetization and sponsorship packages and marketing efforts to support sales initiatives

  • Provide weekly executive reports on qualitative and quantitative social media metrics, sharing key insights with management team

  • Keep abreast of best practices for new and emerging social platforms, focusing on live streaming platforms

  • Self starter, with a proactive ability to forecast challenges and opportunities
