As a Lead Tech Artist, you will help inform, design and build the tools, pipelines, shaders and art techniques for creating our shows in the most efficient and effective way possible. You will collaborate closely with design and art leads to make sure our pipeline is adapting correctly to the creative needs of the company, while also helping inform our creative direction from an art content production view point.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as tech artist in Unity

Wave is looking for a Senior Art Development Director to lead our Creative team to craft interactive virtual concert experiences  featuring some of today’s biggest recording artists. As the studio’s Art Development Director, you will be responsible for managing and delivering high quality art assets from both internal and outsourced teams. In addition, you will work with the Lead Tech Artist to establish and maintain a robust art asset workflow and pipeline, providing inspirational leadership, and collaborating with creative leaders to further develop the look and feel of our virtual concerts in a fast-paced startup environment. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Set direction for multiple teams, organizing cross-team goals and projects. 
  • Represents goals, metrics, and successes to senior leadership for all teams reporting into this manager. 
  • Works with product managers and stakeholders in development and execution of multiple teams' roadmaps. 
  • Responsible for growing team resources and capabilities for Art asset creation on all initiatives and shows
  • Manage all aspects of art outsourcing including vetting new resources, managing bids and budgets, establishing and maintaining workflow and pipelines, and ensuring top quality
  • Plans and executes changes to team staffing in service of company goals: identifying gaps, defining roles, and managing team size.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in lead artist or director position for AAA video games or other creative media

This role reports into the Creative Director and will partner closely with marketing, A&R, brand partnerships, and content teams.

WaveXR is seeking a Technical Show Director to join our team in Los Angeles supporting all live and pre-recorded broadcasts from our facility and other locations. This role is in a fast-paced control room environment and requires the ability to collaborate across departments as the facility and Broadcast pipeline/workflow evolves. Ideal candidates will be highly organized, excellent communicators and collaborators, and flexible and adaptable to successfully respond in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Directing WaveXR live shows, rebroadcasts, and rehearsals in a fast-paced environment displaying proficient technical skills within the control room and adheres to high production standards.
