Adam is passionate about building radically new experiences at the intersection of music, games, and technology, which ultimately bring people closer to each other. He has 13 years of experience working on music tech products as a game designer and product leader. While at Harmonix, he worked on AAA titles like Rock Band, Dance Central, Disney’s Fantasia, Harmonix Music VR, and more. He led the development of the 2015 Music App of the year Ditty, at LA-based music tech startup Zya (acq by Google). He is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and synth enthusiast.

Gary has over 20 years experience building and running breakout media and entertainment companies. Prior to joining Wave, he was the Founding CEO and Executive Chairman of BEN (the Branded Entertainment Network), a Bill Gates-owned private company and the global market leader in product placement and entertainment advertising. Before that, he was the CEO of Corbis, the world’s largest image archive, and the General Manager of FlixMix — a specialty DVD and licensing company owned by Universal Pictures. Gary began his career as a Project Leader in the Media and Entertainment practice of The Boston Consulting Group.

Aaron is a musician and VR developer who has shipped 9 VR titles. Interested in experiential and transcendent applications of VR, he has been creating VR experiences since the Rift DK1 days back in 2012. His first VR endeavor was Unello Design, the studio responsible for many relaxing and meditative VR titles like Eden River, Waking Man, and Zen Zone. Aaron is a three-time Proto Awards nominee for Best Score, and a member of the VRDC advisory board.

Matt is a software engineer and technologist with a long career in the games industry leading technology in various roles at Riot Games, Amazon, MaxPlay,  Bioware, Electronic Arts, etc. He has a long history in developing and running massive online games, He specializes in games as a service, graphics, user experience, game play, and tools to let artists unleash their creativity. He is very excited about the boundless possibilities at Wave. In his free time he is an avid mountain biker and kind of a fitness nut.

Adam has spent the past 30 years developing communities, applications and services around digital content. Most recently, as a Principal Product Manager at Amazon, he built cloud services to support community-driven gaming experiences for Amazon Games and Twitch. At Electronic Arts, he built the user-generated content sharing platform for The Sims 3 and launched the Origin Store for EA’s PC gaming service. Adam got his start programming 3D laser shows for clients like IBM, Gillette and GM, and producing multimedia soundtracks and computer animation for Sports Illustrated and Harper Collins. Aside from his numerous accomplishments in deploying cutting-edge technologies, Adam is a lifelong singer, guitarist and passionate car steering wheel percussionist.

Nicole is L.A. by way of New Hampshire and became a devotee of the house music scene in NYC. She’s helmed digital marketing and partnership roles at Live Nation, Topspin and Twitter. Most recently she worked with 8i to secure major talent partnerships for an AR consumer app called “Holo,” which was one of Apple’s “Best of 2017” apps. Her love of music fuels long trail runs in the mountains.

Chan is a creative executive with over 20 years experience creating award winning content for games and XR. As CEO of SuperBot Entertainment, he built a team from the ground up to create PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale, Sony’s first brawler which featured some of the biggest IP in gaming and AIAS Fighting Game of the Year. Prior to that, he built a premier interactive outsourcing division for Technicolor, providing industry leading work on such notable franchises as Gears of War, Uncharted, and God of War.

Elizabeth Moody is the General Counsel of Wave XR and a Partner, Chair of New Media practice at Granderson des Rochers. As a digital media executive veteran, Moody has advised digital music and video services including Pandora, YouTube, Spotify, Rdio, Soundcloud and MySpace. Most recently, she served as the VP of Global Content Partnerships at Pandora, where she drove content strategy and lead the negotiation and implementation of content partnership deals. Previously, she held managed content acquisition for new channels at OnCue (Intel) and led the music partnerships team at YouTube. Prior to that, she worked with Fred Davis to build Davis Shapiro’s digital media practice and started her career as a corporate and intellectual property lawyer at Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP.

Neil Hunt has been at Netflix since 1999 and serves as Chief Product Officer, leading the product team, which designs, builds and optimizes the Netflix experience. Prior to Netflix, Neil worked from 1991 in various engineering and product roles at the software test tool companies Pure Software and its successors, Pure Atria and Rational Software. Before that, Neil was engaged in research in computer vision and image processing at the University of Aberdeen, Schlumberger Palo Alto Research Labs and Teleos Research. He holds a Doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Aberdeen, U.K. and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Durham, U.K.

Gordon is a Visiting Scholar at the USC Games program, helping to cultivate the next generation of leaders in our craft. He has played key business and product leadership roles at Tencent, Electronic Arts, as a designer on Madden NFL Football, and MTV, and consulted for numerous companies in the industry. Gordon served as Executive Director of both the the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences and the International Game Developers Association. He is a graduate of Harvard College, and resides with his husband Joe Heally, and 3 dogs, Cyber, Cooper, and Colby in North Hills, California.

Beeple is Mike Winkelmann, a graphic designer from Charleston, SC, USA who does a variety of digital artwork including short films, Creative Commons VJ loops, everydays and VR / AR work.

After he began releasing a set of widely used Creative Commons VJ loops he has worked on concert visuals for Justin Bieber, One Direction, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, Zedd, deadmau5 and many more.

One of the originators of the current “everyday” movement in 3D graphics, he has been creating a picture everyday from start to finish and posting it online for over ten years without missing a single day.

Based in Los Angeles, Jon is Managing Partner for Skybound, the IP holder of The Walking Dead and other top IPs. Jon is also a Venture Partner at Greycroft, focused on videogames, VR/AR and eSports. Previously, Jon served as board member and CEO for two portfolio companies at Jerusalem Venture Partners in video games and online video. Jon was a founder, Chairman and CEO of Foundation 9 Entertainment, the largest independent videogame developer in the world at the time with 11 studios and 1000 employees and sold the company in 2006.

Jeremy Welt spent the last two decades revolutionizing the way media is created, consumed, and monetized. Prior to joining Wave, Jeremy co-founded Spatialand (acquired by Wal-Mart). Before focusing on immersive platforms, Jeremy empowered digital creators as head of marketing for Maker Studios, joining in its infancy, through it’s acquisition by Disney. Welt started his career in music, initially as a musician and engineer at the Village Recorder, working in the famed studio with artists from Eric Clapton to Dr Dre, and later as a senior executive at Warner Bros Records, Def American, and Maverick Records.
